TruthSpine product guide

What is TruthSpine?

TruthSpine is a local-first project truth system that keeps current decisions, sources, changes, proof, and next work available to connected AI agents.

TruthSpine is a local-first project truth system for people who build with AI chats, coding agents, and IDE assistants. It connects to the projects you choose, determines what is currently supported by their sources, and gives connected agents compact project truth without making you repeatedly rebuild the project explanation.

What problem does it solve?

AI chats start cold, lose decisions, reuse stale plans, and make the user carry context between tools. TruthSpine keeps current project truth separate from ordinary chat memory so agents can answer from the real work.

What does it keep?

Current decisions, source-backed facts, meaningful changes, completed work, unresolved gaps, proof, and next work. Records are linked through SHA-256 parent-child lineage so their history remains inspectable.

Where does it run?

TruthSpine runs locally on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Supported chats, IDEs, and agent workspaces connect to the local TruthSpine runtime.

Who builds it?

TruthSpine is built by TimeProofLabs. The canonical product website is truthspine.app, and the public desktop downloads and connector packages are linked from that site.
